FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device for testing of electrical meters comprises switching back-to-back power transistors, storage capacitors, in-series choke and thyristor (bidirectional triode thyristor) in the first discharging circuit and control unit for power transistors and thyristors (bidirectional triode thyristors). At that it comprises additional step-up autotransformer with transformer ratio more than two, additional circuit consisting of in-series choke and thyristor (bidirectional triode thyristor) in the second discharging circuit and high-voltage power diodes connected between output lead of the step-up autotransformer with respective storage capacitors. The thyristors (bidirectional triode thyristors) are coupled to the respective connecting points of high-voltage power diodes with their storage capacitors and phase conductor of the electric network, while back-to-back power transistors are connected between phase conductor of the electric network and input lead of the step-up autotransformer, the respective control junctions of power transistors and thyristors (bidirectional triode thyristors) are coupled to the control unit complete with trigger pulse generating circuit for the thyristor (bidirectional triode thyristor) in the second discharging circuit.
EFFECT: increased voltage in voltage coil of the electrical meter at discharge of high-voltage pulse storage capacitors back to the network without their connection in series.
