SUBSTANCE: device has: a generator configured to generate a predetermined sequence using a plurality of pseudorandom noise sequences, wherein the predetermined sequence has noise-like characteristics and contains sets of bits for use in generating correlation peaks; and a speech codec configured to process the predetermined sequence for generating a speech packet, wherein the predetermined sequence is used as frame synchronisation for a plurality of non-speech frames, where the beginning of the boundaries of the non-speech frame from the number of non-speech frames depends on at least the distance from the shift time in the predetermined sequence to a reference moment in time.
EFFECT: high accuracy of detection, minimising data errors and high rate of transmitting data in a communication system.
