FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, particularly, to water-jet propeller reverse steering devices. Proposed device comprises straightener, nozzle, reverse shutter, parallel row of rudders and rudders drive. Reverse shutter comprises lateral bypass channels and is mounted downstream of straightener with nozzle. Aforesaid rudders are coupled by common drive to vary the angle of their turn. Shutter rear wall inner surface is formed by curvilinear planes diverging from its center. Said planes are described by the section of flat Archimedes spiral. The number of rudders is odd. Medium rudder is located opposite the zone of convergence of curvilinear planes.
EFFECT: simplified design, higher efficiency, ease of use.
