FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in different heat-stabilising devices: in instrument-making and optoelectronics; in insulated containers for transporting medical, biological preparations; food products. The cold-accumulating material, which contains NaCl, KCl and water, additionally contains NH4Cl, CaSO4 or CaSO4·2H2O.
EFFECT: cold-accumulating material provides stabilisation of temperature of minus 25,5±1°C, retains its properties for an unlimited number of melting-crystallisation cycles and during prolonged use and storage.
