FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: composite material granules are obtained by mechanical alloying of the mixture containing matrix material particles and 0.1-50 vol. % of strengthening nanoparticles with the size of 0.7-100 nm, during the period of time determined as per empiric formula where t is time expressed in minutes; A is nondimensional value, which is equal to volume fraction of strengthening particles in percents; B is nondimensional value, which is equal to average size of strengthening nanoparticles in nanometres; K is coefficient equal to (0.2÷2.0) min. Obtained granules are arranged in a mould, heated to partial or complete meting of granules, and semi-liquid or liquid forming is performed.
EFFECT: composite has high mechanical and operating properties.
