FIELD: nanotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: in composite material with a metal matrix and nanoscale reinforcing particles in the agglomerated state, manufactured with melting of the matrix, the content of the nanoscale reinforcing particles in the agglomerated state is less than 5% by volume of the total amount of the nanoparticles, and the remaining nanoscale reinforcing particles are in the unagglomerated state. The assigned task can also be achieved by the fact that in the composite material with the metal matrix and nanoscale reinforcing particles the number of nanoparticles in the agglomerates in the final product does not exceed 10. To perform the assigned task in the method of manufacturing the composite with the metal matrix and nanosized reinforcing particles, comprising preparing the composite granules by method of mechanical alloying of the initial mixtures of metal particles and reinforcing nanoparticles, heating of the granules to complete or partial melting, and moulding or deformation of articles in liquid or semi-liquid state, according to the invention, the prepared composite granules are added into the melt of the matrix material or its component, and stirred while the temperature of the melt is maintained in the temperature range of 1.01-1.3 from the melting temperature of the melt material.

EFFECT: increase in strength characteristics of the composite material while minimizing the volume fraction of reinforcing particles.
