FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: in a single-piece sound absorber comprising a rigid frame suspended to hooks at ropes to a ceiling of an industrial building with a sound-absorbing material arranged inside the frame, wrapped with a meshed caproic fabric, to the frame an expanded steel sheet is attached, and the frame may be arranged in shape as a rectangular parallelepiped with dimensions of ribs L×H×B, the ratio of which is in the optimal interval of values L:H:B=2:1:0.5 or a cube with rib dimension k×L, where min L=100 mm; k - coefficient of proportionality, which is in the range from 1 to 10 with pitch 2, besides, in process of frame suspension, optimal ratios of dimensions are achieved: D - from the centre of the frame to the point of suspension to the ceiling and C - distance between axes of adjacent frames, besides, the ratio of these dimensions should be in the optimal interval of values: C:D=1:1…4:1.
EFFECT: ensuring the effectiveness of noise absorption on account of increasing the frequency diapason and improving operational characteristics.
