SUBSTANCE: method for object coverage with a tent includes the following: in process of object coverage the tent cloth, which has been previously wound onto a roller reel fixed in the body, is unwound, and simultaneously the tent cloth is pulled onto the object, then the tent cloth is fixed on the object, and as the object is opened, the tent cloth is in the reverse order wound onto the roller reel and pulled off the object, besides, in the process of object opening the tent cloth along its length is folded first in two layers, one of which represents a central cloth, and the second layer represents two side cloths, further side cloths are laid onto the central cloth, then each side cloth is folded at least into two other layers, the width of every of which is selected as less than the width of the side cloth, then the smaller cloth is laid onto another smaller cloth, and thus produced cloth folded into several layers is wound onto the roller reel, and when the object is covered with the tent cloth, its end is moved towards the object from the roller reel, central and side cloths of the tent cloth are pulled out from the body, and simultaneously the tent layers are unfolded in plan so that the central cloth rests against the upper side of the object, and side cloths contact with sides of the object, besides, when unfolding the tent cloth, side cloths of the tent cloth are separated from the central cloth, and in process of object opening simultaneously with opening all specified layers of the tent cloth are wound onto the roller reel into a roll. Also a device is described for coverage of the object with the tent.

EFFECT: increased reliability of device operation, expanded functional capabilities of a method and a device.
