FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: assembly of two pre-manufactured annular workpieces of seal bases is performed, on each of which there is the corresponding annular slot; wire is wound on the obtained framework and pressed on both sides with hold-down plates. The whole obtained structure of seals is fixed and aligned by means of fastening rings in an annular basing mandrel for processing of an external annular surface of seals. Cutting of wire and its rigid fixation along external annular surface is performed. Workpieces of seals are fixed in the annular basing mandrel for processing of the internal annular surface. Removal of the mandrel for processing of the external annular surface and necessary cutting of the internal annular surface is performed.
EFFECT: method allows improving manufacturing accuracy of seals and reducing the labour input of the manufacturing process.
