FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: rock samples are taken. Crucibles are cleaned in an ultrasonic bath and tempered in a muffle furnace. Samples are ground in metal and agate mortars. Pyrolysis is carried out with subsequent oxidation of samples in an inert nitrogen atmosphere using a plant Rock-Eval-6. In the pyrolysis furnace of the plant Rock-Eval-6 free hydrocarbons are evaporated, thermal decomposition of kerogen takes place. Hydrocarbons released as a result of such decomposition are determined with the help of a plasma-ionisation detector. Also electric potential is measured, which occurs in process of ionisation in flame created by burning of a hydrogen-air mixture. Using the method of infrared spectrometry, quantities of CO and CO2 are continuously measured. With the help of software Rocksix parameters of light loosely coupled hydrocarbons are determined.
EFFECT: determination of kerogen content in rocks and its parameters.
