FIELD: instrument making industry.

SUBSTANCE: accelerometer comprises a central quartz plate 1 (pendulum) on the elastic suspension 2. On the pendulum the coils 3 of magnetoelectric torque sensor are mounted, and on the fixed part there are magnets 4. The differential capacitive displacement pickup is formed by the inner metal surfaces 5 of the fixed plates and the outer metallised surfaces 6 of the movable quartz plate. The bearing surface of the magnetic circuit 9 coupled with the quartz plate is made of a material with a coefficient of linear expansion (c.l.e.) close to c.l.e. of quartz, for example, from alloy 32NKD (36N), and the inner magnetic circuit 10 is made of a material with a significantly higher saturation induction than the magnetic circuit 9, for example from alloy 50N (27KH).

EFFECT: this arrangement of the magnetic system of the accelerometer enables to extend the limits of the measured linear acceleration while maintaining reliability of the metallised layer sprayed on the fused quartz.
