FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: coordinate gas-filled detector comprises thin-walled drift tubes - straw. The straw is combined into modules, which represent rigid planar structures of one straw layer. Two modules with identical area of thickness equal to straw diameter are combined with a shift to each other to a straw radius into a single structural unit with distribution tubular gas collectors, elements of high-voltage supply of straw and elements of transmission of registered signals to external reading electronics.
EFFECT: registration of particles with high coordinate and angular resolution with a detector of large area.
