SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preventive agents for coating metal surfaces of dumb-cars, gondola cars and other mining transport, as well as transportation equipment, against freezing and sticking of overburden rocks, coal, iron ore, nonferrous metal ores, limestone, clay, chalk, marl and other wet granular materials. The preventive agent consists of a lubricant base and a stabilising additive, wherein the lubricant base used is alkaline effluent from caprolactam production and the stabilising additive can be ethyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, a head fraction of ethyl alcohol, a methanol-ether-aldehyde fraction, methyl alcohol, 2-methyl-propanol, isoamyl alcohol, ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, triethylene glycol, propylene glycol, monoethyl ether of diethylene glycol, potassium acetate, sodium acetate, potassium formate, sodium formate, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride and sodium chloride.
EFFECT: low chilling point and viscosity of the preventive agent at low temperatures, low corrosive effect on metals.
