FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: steam turbine (10) includes the following: rotor (20) of turbine; side (12) facing the generator and having the first stage (26) with the first reaction, side (14) of the turbine, which has the first stage (34) with the second reaction that is not equal to the first reaction; and tubular part (18). Tubular part (18) is located between side (12) facing the generator and side (14) of the turbine. Annular gap (22) is formed between rotor (20) of the turbine and tubular part (18). Difference of the first reaction and the second reaction is capable of inducing steam flow (46) through annular gap (22) to decrease temperature of rotor (20) of the turbine. Cooling method of rotor (20) of steam turbine (10) involves injection of steam flow (46) to steam turbine (10). Passage of steam flow (46) through the first stage (26) from the side facing the generator. Injection of at least some part of steam flow (46) through annular gap (22) due to difference of the second reaction and the first reaction to decrease temperature of rotor (20) of the turbine. Passage of some part of steam flow (46) from annular gap (22) to side (14) of the turbine.
EFFECT: achieving cooling of tubular part of the rotor of a double-flow turbine in a steam inlet zone.
