FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: shock absorber includes flywheel, a mechanical transmission from moving suspension elements of an automobile to the flywheel through a gear transmission and a friction coupling. In order to convert back-and-forth movement of suspension elements to rotation of an inlet shaft of gear transmission, a crank- and-rod mechanism has been used. Friction coupling is installed before the gear transmission made in the form of one or several planetary rows.
EFFECT: simplifying tightness of gear transmission and friction coupling; reducing shock absorber dimensions.
