SUBSTANCE: estimating the effectiveness of the antibiotic therapy of C. pneumoniae and M. pneumoniae in infants suffering acute respiratory diseases with broncho-obstructive syndrome is ensured by describing lymphocyte subpopulations, and if observing CD71-lymphocyte count less than 3.92% and CDDR-lymphocytes count less than 28.55% 3-4 weeks after the completion of the therapy, the antibiotic therapy is considered to be effective.
EFFECT: using this method enables quickly and objectively assessing the immune system status that is important establishing the necessity of the further treatment, choosing a drug preparation and evaluating the clinical effectiveness of the antibiotic therapy.
