FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a multichannel telemetric system for collecting and recording seismic data, having a field control device which is configured to be connected to the ultra-high-speed input/output of the control computer of a central control device and record seismic data, and to recording field modules through a high-speed input/output. Series arrangements of the recording field modules further include field modules having two pairs of orthogonally arranged inputs/outputs, with formation on the investigated area of an arrangement network configured to distribute flow of instructions and seismic data in both the forward and the reverse or orthogonal directions relative the initial (forward) direction of the flow of instructions and seismic data in the given area of arrangement (network). The field modules are configured for high-speed transmission of data between themselves and automatic control or redirection of incoming flow of instructions and seismic data on the way.
EFFECT: providing high efficiency of a multichannel system for collecting seismic data during faults in communication lines.
