SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of collecting seismic data. Performing arrangement of linear repeaters according to a predetermined arrangement plan. Arranged linear repeaters are connected by fibre-optic cables to the central station. Arrangement of recording units is carried out according to a predetermined arrangement plan. After that, the central station sends a command to initialise communication with all visible recording nodes to the linear repeaters. Recording nodes with which communication is established transmit information on their unique identifier and coordinates to the central station through linear repeaters. Central station analyses the received data and informs each linear retransmitter with which recording node to establish communication. Central station transmits to each recording node with which communication is established, a command to search and initialise the next recording node to form a chain of recording nodes. Communication is established with all recording units in circuits of recording nodes. When receiving information on the moment of excitation from an external excitation system of a seismic pulse or by an operator command, the central station generates a command for transmission of a certain time segment of data for a subset of recording nodes determined by the survey plan.
EFFECT: collection of seismic data in real time.
