SUBSTANCE: device (10) is described for document handling, comprising a safe (20), including an accumulating unit (30), a module (30) for banknotes handling, installed on top of the safe (20) and a cover (60) of a door, which hides the door of the safe (22), providing access to the inner part of the safe. A module (30) for banknote handling has an input module (41), a transportation mechanism (42) of the BHM for movement of documents, an output module (46), a unit of document analysis (43) and the first deflector (44), controlled by the main control device. Besides, the cover (60) of the door hides a cassette module (50), arranged between the cover (60) of the door and the door (22) of the safe, and which includes a detachable cassette (110) for storage of documents.
EFFECT: convenience of operation with preservation of device dimensions.
