FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to currency processing means. Device comprises a currency cassette for storing and dispensing currency that is attachable to a housing, and a currency sorting device having an identifying/counting unit that identifies and counts currency, a currency storage unit for storing currency, and a cassette mounting unit to which currency cassette used in currency processing device is attachable. Currency sorting device sorts and stores currency in currency cassette set in cassette mounting unit and in currency storage unit on basis of identification results from identifying/counting unit.
EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling change of mode of selecting currency and filling.
