FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: improved method and device are suggested for remote monitoring of electric load and evaluation of key characteristics related to energy of anomalies and disturbances in the main line induced or created by electric load and determination of their compliance with certain expected parameters of the steady state. The device contains power distribution intelligent module which can include output power section, input power section, communications section and respective circuits. The power distribution intelligent module can contain a memory section, detector, processor and switch additionally. The method for monitoring of electric load with current and voltage created by means of power source connected to the load includes the following operations mainly: introduction of detector module between the load and power source; determination of one of several characteristics of the load; reliability check for determination of the load characteristics.
EFFECT: improvement of accuracy for remote measuring and calibrating of electric load signals.
