FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning of mechanical impurities. Proposed filter comprises vertical cylindrical case with taper bottom furnished with suspension inlet, filtrate and precipitate discharge and vapor (gas) feed branch pipes, filtration element of gauze shaped to bad with its top and bottom ends clipped to perforated cylinder equipped with rotary drive. Perforated cylinder consists of two parts mated along outer an inner surfaces with clearance to allow bottom barrel translating and rotating relative to top barrel. Bottom barrel is furnished with taper bottom with central bore to receive filtrate discharge pipe. Perforated cylinder bottom barrel has rotary drive consisting of shaft splined with sleeve secured to bottom barrel bottom, and drive. Case taper bottom union is provided with three-way valve for suspension feed and precipitate discharge. Suspension feed union incorporates device preventing ingress of vapor (gas) into suspension pipeline.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
