FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control over sieves. Proposed method comprises, at least, one sieving surface and means to feed initial material thereon. Said material is divided into first fraction to be left on said surface and second fraction passing through said surface. Proposed method defines automatically the amount of material on sieving surface and material feed rate. Besides, sieve granulometers are used to effect automatic control over particle size of spigot and initial material fed onto sieving surface. Said surface is furnished with plates arranged in steps with clearance there between. Efficiency of separation is calculate to adjust initial material feed rate at belt feeder at adjustable feed rate.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of control.
