FIELD: woodworking industry. SUBSTANCE: machine has curved guide members for installing sawing band 2. Cutting zone formed by band line 3 is located between oppositely positioned curved guide members in the form of bow-shaped cover plates 4, 5 provided with aerostatic lubrication system. Guide member opposite to cutting zone takes form of driving pulley, and radius "r_a" of cover plates corresponds to value _a=R - H, where R-radius of pulley and H - lateral displacement of cover plates 4,5 relative to longitudinal axis 1-1 of band contour. Machine cuts wood of various cross section value and is of small size due to aforesaid lateral displacement of centers of bow-shaped cover plates. EFFECT: high efficiency. 3 dwg
