FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method consists in measurement of pressure parameters in a braking line, and the following operations are carried out in series: operator's identity is confirmed, base station time and measurement start time are synchronised. Then integrity of the braking line is monitored in accordance with the technological regulations with input of the produced data into the microcontroller's memory and transfer of all information along a radio channel to the base station in real-time mode. Besides, update of software and microcontroller operation parameters is provided from a keyboard and along a radio channel from the base station. Also braking pressure parameters are measured in the line. Braking pressure parameters may be measured in the tail part of the train and simultaneously in the head part of the train, with simultaneous transfer of data to the base station, besides, measurement selection is also dependent on the technological regulations.

EFFECT: expansion of functional capabilities and increased traffic safety.
