FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: capsule for preparation of a food product in the device fit for liquid delivery into the capsule contains at least one compartment (13) with food ingredients being mixed with the delivered liquid for the food product preparation, and a filter (18) intended for removal of impurities contained in the liquid. The filter is designed in the form of a relatively hard filtering appliance (18) consisting of a filtering membrane (20) and an outlet wall (23) whereon the filtering membrane rests; at least one outlet hole (26) for the liquid, communicating with the compartment (13), is made in the outlet wall. The filter filtering surface (18, 20) is smaller than the cross section of the compartment spout.

EFFECT: capsule design allows to reduce the probability of the filter disruption under the gas pressure during the capsule blowing with gas that may lead to the released food product/mixture contamination as well as to prevent the filter deformation under the pressure of the liquid being supplied into the capsule.
