FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: decorative glazing coating on the surface of a ceramic item is produced by means of serial application of two layers of a glaze suspension of different colour, drying and baking. Prior to application of the upper layer of the glaze suspension onto the lower layer of the glaze suspension, a layer of liquid glass is applied, which during baking swells and swells the upper layer of the glaze, assisting its partial separation. The proposed method is not complicated, since single-stage baking of ceramic items is provided.
EFFECT: expansion of assortment of decorative glazing coatings for artistic ceramic items.
