FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes charging a blowing-in burner into a blast furnace, monitoring of its quality and placement in a furnace, a gas-blowing mode, providing for the process of the blowing-in period of the furnace operation. The iron-ore component of the blowing-in burden is a blowing-in agglomerate with iron content of ≤ 57% at the ratio of CaO/SiO2 ≤ 0.95. The thermal mode of blowing-in burden melting is regulated by variation of ore load within the limits of achievement of the normal thermal mode.
EFFECT: reduced specific consumption of coke in blowing-in period, accelerated heating and taking a furnace to operating parameters, production of composition and properties of melting products that are close to rated ones during first runs.
