FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes supply of metal charge and slag-forming components into a converter, blowdown with oxygen, production of liquid metal, metal tapping into a ladle. Metal blowdown with oxygen is completed as metal temperature achieves 1660…1680°C. In process of metal tapping from a converter, metal deoxidisation is carried out with ferromanganese carbide in amount of 10…15 kg/t and secondary aluminium ingots in the amount of 0.4…0.6 kg/t. Then metal decarbonising is carried out in a steel vacuumisation plant for 15…20 min., final deoxidization and alloying, desulphuration of metal and repeated vacuumisation is carried out for 10…15 min.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of ferroalloys, aluminium and alloying materials for production of required chemical composition of finished steel, reduced content of non-metal inclusions.
