SUBSTANCE: load is applied to contacting rollers with oil or lubricant applied thereto. Slide velocity is set to calculate score-resistance criterion by appropriate formula. For this, first, lubricant or oil surface tension is defined. Then, load in the contact is smoothly increased to use tribographs to measure time interval between load application start and score origination at contacting surfaces so that dimensionless criterion can be calculated by preset formula.
