FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pressure metal working and namely to estimation methods of antiscoring properties of process lubricating materials and coatings. Equal specimens are passed through rolls with specified crimping, one of which is passed at freely rotating rolls without applying lubricating material, the other specimen is deformed in rigidly fixed rolls without lubricating material, the rest specimens are passed through rigidly fixed rolls with applied lubricating materials or coatings. There determined is deformation force consumed for overcoming friction of the second specimen and specimens with applied lubricating materials or coatings. There visually determined is formation place of scores on specimens. Deformation force-movement relationship diagram is built for all specimens. By means of the above diagram for formation place of scores there determined is crimping degree and shear stress of the second specimen and specimens with applied lubricating materials or coatings. There calculated is ψ value for tested lubricating materials or coatings, which is determined from the relationship specified in invention description. At that, tested lubricating material or coating with higher ψ value has higher antiscoring properties.
