SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of classifying web pages and organising the corresponding information content, which includes a step of recording Internet addresses, which in turn involves executing processes for automatic recording of said Internet addresses, and a selection step for assigning said Internet addresses a corresponding pertinence value. At the selection step said pertinence value is assigned proportional to its record at the recording step and Internet addresses whose pertinence value is higher than a given threshold value are selected. The method also includes a reduction step where Internet addresses with pertinence value greater than the threshold value, which do not satisfy at least one essentiality criterion, are deleted, and a verification step where several said Internet addresses which satisfy said essentiality criteria are verified, wherein the verification step comprises human actions.
