FIELD: object recognition system.

SUBSTANCE: method of object detection on video and object comparison with one or more products includes stages, on which video is received and metadata and attributes of objects in frames and/or sections of frames on video are automatically extracted, segmenting the video based on the image environment and/or events by comparing the content of consecutive frames, assembling segments with the same or similar situation, analyzing one or more segments to detect one or more objects, comparing said one or more objects with products, identifying products, associated with said one or more objects, wherein a convolution neural network (CNN) is used, notifying one or more observers about products.

EFFECT: technical result is aimed at improvement of accuracy of detection and comparison of object on video.
