FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to grinding of loose materials, for example, cement clinker. Jar roller 1 comprises grinding table 3, at least, one roll 4, damper 8 including first part 9 arranged at element of mechanism fixed in toll lengthwise axis 6, and second part 10 arranged at element of mechanism revolving about roll axial line and jointly with said roll. Said first and second parts 9, 10 have opposite pressure surfaces 9a, 10a extending perpendicular to roll lengthwise axis 6 to make cavity 11 there between. Note here that pressure surface 9a of first part 9 faces direction opposite axial load acting along said roll axis 6 while pressure surface 10a of second roll 10 is aligned with direction of axial load acting along said roll axis 6. Jar roller 1 comprises also means 12 to feed viscous medium at pressure in said cavity 11 between opposite pressure surfaces 9a, 10a.
EFFECT: decreased axial load applied to antifriction bearing.
