FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed to up the quality of rolled strip 3 made by, at least, one working roll 1, 2 interacting with second roll 4, 5. Note here that said second roll 4, 5 has inverse section 6 at its axial end zone, Said roll is produced at the following steps: a) calculation of preset profile of deformation source between two interacting rolls 1, 2. Note hear that definite width B of rolled material 3 is taken as a basis which passes , at least, partially in rear section zone 6 of second roll 4, 5; b) definition of required contour of rolled material to result from rolling at rolls 1, 2; c) calculation of compensation section for roll 1, 2 by subtracting rolled material contour defined at step b) from profile of deformation source defined at step a) and multiplying obtained difference by damping factor B equal to 0.3-0.9; d) application of compensation section calculated at step c) on, at least, one working roll 1, 2 in, at least, in separate zone.
EFFECT: higher quality of rolled stock.
