FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of pellet powder for small arms, particularly for a hunting and sport 7.62×51C cartridge. The charge is placed in an encapsulated shell with a bullet and consists of pellet powder with particle size of 0.4-0.8 mm. The charge is made from pellet powder elements, which consist of pyroxyline 1 Pl with nitrogen oxide content of 212.5-213.5 ml NO/g, 10.0-13.0 wt % nitroglycerine, 0.2-0.3 wt % centralite II, 0.3-0.7 wt % diphenylamine, with packed density of 0.970-0.995 kg/dm3, phlegmatised from the surface 4.6-5.4 wt % centralite I, 2.0-4.0 wt % dinitrotoluene and 5.0-6.0 wt % dimethacrylate triethylene glycol with phthalate (MGF-9), graphitised from the surface 0.1-0.3 wt % graphite, containing 0.2-0.6 wt % moisture and 0.1-0.9 wt % ethyl acetate, with the following mass ratio of fractions, wt %: powder that has passed through a 0.8 mm sieve and remained at a 0.4 mm sieve - at least 90; powder remaining at a 0.8 mm sieve and passed through a 0.4 mm sieve - not more than 10.
EFFECT: invention provides stable ballistic characteristics of the 7,62×51C cartridge with a heavy bullet weighing 12 g.
