SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to cardiology. Collection of anamnesis, clinical and echo0cardiographic examination of 18-year old over 18 year old patients are carried out. In estimation of thrombus formation probability taken into account are: patient's height, body weight, presence/absence of inflammatory process in patient's organism, presence/absence of diabetes mellitus, presence of liquid in pericardium, right atrium dilation, thickness of right ventricle wall in millimetres, presence of signs of post-infarction cardiosclerosis of left ventricle apex. Probability of presence of mural thrombus formation/mural thrombosis in right parts of heart is estimated on the basis of obtained data.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to improve diagnostics of thrombus formation in right chambers of heart in adult people and determine group of patients with high risk of thrombi presence in right heart chambers, who need urgent preventive measures to prevent thromboembolism into pulmonary artery and lethal outcome.
