SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict the probability of thrombosis of the left atrial appendage in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation. The index of the volume of the left atrium and the level of fibroblast growth factor-23 is determined. Then, using the developed mathematical formula, the value of the regression equation F is calculated. Next, the probability of having thrombosis of the left atrial appendage P is calculated taking into account the calculated value of F. At a value of P≥0.27, a high probability of having thrombosis of the left atrial appendage is stated. With a value of P<0.27 there is a low probability of having thrombosis of the left atrial appendage.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to assess with high accuracy the probability of LAA thrombosis in patients with non-valvular AF, providing high quality diagnostics, reducing the cost of diagnostic measures and time spent on examination.
