SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiology. Consider the presence of chronic heart failure, atrial fibrillation, ascites, treatment of other diseases with anticoagulants, post-infarction cardiosclerosis, or myocardial infarction during the present hospitalization. Probability of pulmonary thromboembolism from the right atrial appendage is assessed. Depending on the value of the probability index, patients are referred to the group with a high probability of pulmonary embolism from the right atrial appendage or to the group with a low probability.
EFFECT: method allows to improve the assessment of the probability of pulmonary thromboembolism from the right atrial appendage, to determine the group of patients needing adequate preventive measures to prevent thromboembolism in the pulmonary artery and death due to the assessment of the complex of the most significant indicators.
