SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment and can be applied for correction of funnel chest deformation. Device for correction of funnel chest deformation contains plate from titanium alloy, which has end area with openings for ligature. Plate has additional middle and transit areas. Transit areas, each, are placed between middle area and end area, each end area being 15-60 mm long. Each transit area is 5-40 mm long, with: T₁=1.5-3 T₂, where: T₁ is width of middle area; T₂ is width of each end area. Width of transit areas changes evenly.

EFFECT: invention ensures reduced probability of complications in operations on elimination of funnel chest deformation, connected with perforation of soft tissues due to ensuring congruence of plate shape and chest, in reduction of deviation of plate ends from ribs, on which it rests, as well as reduction of probability of its migration.
