SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Plug comprises rod-like body 10 with first end 12 and second end 14, bag-like hole 16 extending from said body first end, from gas feed region 22, to region 24 of connection with bottom 26, one gas channel 18 extending from said connection region 24 to section 20 of body surface in the region of its second end 14 and section 30 located along hole 16 through which fed gas is forced. Gas channel 18 and section 30 feature cross section area and flow effective cross section smaller than cross section area of hole 16. Device 40 to measure gas pressure in region 34, nearby hole 16 between bottom 26 and section 30.
EFFECT: controlled melt flow at various position of plug relative to discharge tip.
