FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to facilities for blowing gas into reservoir. The tuyere consists of three modules: a main module, a module of gas inlet and central module, all separately fabricated and successively assembled. They are interconnected with plug-type connectors. The main module forms a channel directing hot gas to an upper part of the reservoir. The module of gas inlet directs hot gas into the channel of the main module. The central module consists of an elongated central tubular structure passing inside the channel of the main module; at its lower end it carries multitude of swirling blades for vortex of gas escaping the channel. The main module has an assembly flange resting against the flange on the reservoir. The module of gas inlet has a lower assembly flange resting against the flange of the upper end of the main module. The central module has the assembly flange resting against the flange of the upper end of the gas inlet module.
EFFECT: facilitating long service life of air tuyere at temperature as high as 2000° C.
