SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of fibrous sheet. Method includes formation of initial cloth from water solution of paper-forming fibers, dehydration of initial cloth with formation of dehydrated web, having consistence from about ten percent of dry substance to nearly seventy percent of dry substance, movement of dehydrated web to transfer surface, and transfer of dehydrated web from transfer surface to molding drum in molding zone. Molding drum includes an outer side and a structured surface on the outer side of the molding drum. Paper-forming fibers of the dewatered web are redistributed on the structured surface to form a molded paper web. Method also includes transfer of molded paper web into drying section and drying of molded paper web in drying section with formation of fibrous sheet.
EFFECT: methods of making paper products using a molding drum are disclosed.
