FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: behind-the-casing self-sealing packer includes a sealing cup that is supported on a lower cone-shaped stop with stiff blades. The stop is fixed on the pipe string. The cup is also fixed relative to the pipe string and made from swelling material. Besides, it is made in the form of an assembly consisting at least of two in-series installed seals. Each of which swells in certain liquid. On upper mating cone surfaces of seals there uniformly made in a circumferential direction are radial channels.
EFFECT: improving reliability of separation of behind-the-casing space in the well at its reinforcement, development and operation, preventing the upward or downward movement of liquids of different types in behind-the-casing space of the well and enhancing the well construction work.
