SUBSTANCE: liquid crystal device includes signal scanning lines and signal data lines, wherein one scanning pulse is transmitted to one selected signal scanning line, wherein each signal data line receives data signals whose polarity varies over one vertical scanning period, while in one horizontal scanning period, one of two signal data lines receives a data signal having polarity and the other of the two signal data lines receives the other data signal having another polarity, wherein the two signal data lines are arranged next to each other, wherein scanning pulses are successively transmitted to in sets from two lines of signal data scanning lines, and when timing, where the amplitude values of two scanning pulses (e.g., Pi and Pj) are transmitted, the amplitude values of two scanning pulses increase (e.g., Pm and Pn).

EFFECT: reduced pulsation generated in voltage of signal data lines even during prolonged receiver driving, and high quality of display.
