SUBSTANCE: method for amplitude, phase and frequency modulation of a high-frequency signal is based on interaction of a high-frequency signal and a low-frequency signal with a multifunctional apparatus for amplitude, phase and frequency modulation of a high-frequency signal, made from a three-terminal nonlinear element, a matching four-terminal element, a complex two-terminal element, a low-frequency control signal source, a high-frequency signal source and a load. The multifunctional apparatus has components given above to enable execution of said procedures, wherein parameters of elements of the matching four-terminal element are selected to be optimum in accordance with given mathematical expressions.

EFFECT: providing amplitude, phase and frequency modulation using one device in accordance with the law of variation of the amplitude of the low-frequency control signal with a longer linear section of the frequency modulation characteristic.
