FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: cartridge comprises a case with a slope, a missile, a detonator, a missile element and a piston. The piston is installed in the bottom part of the case with two protruding circular conic ledges, one along the outer cylindrical surface, the other along the inner one, in contact with the missile element. In the central part of the piston end there is a cylindrical groove, on the bottom of which there is a ledge or ledges with an inclined side surface. Also in the piston there are through holes at the inclination angle to the horizontal plane of the piston for gas passage from the missile arranged in the entire free volume of the case. The missile enters the cylindrical groove on the piston, and in its bottom part it has a slot or slots with an inclined side surface, into which a similar ledge or ledges enter in a detachable manner, and those ledges are arranged on the piston. In the conical part of the case slope there is a circular conic obturator installed with a conic face along the inner diameter towards the piston, and at least with one circular rib and a circular bore. The conic surface of the obturator facing towards the piston is coupled along the surface with two circular conic ledges on the piston.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of firing in air and water media.
