FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: measuring device of concentration of mechanical impurities in media includes a pipeline with controlled liquid, into which there mounted at some distance from each other are receiving piezoelectric converters made in the form of solid or split rings with piezosensitive layers applied to inner and outer surface of rings parallel to their central axis, which are electrically connected to electronic units, an emitting piezoelectric converter connected to an electromagnetic oscillation generator, as well as an information processing and presentation unit connected to outputs of electronic units and the electromagnetic oscillation generator. According to the invention, the device additionally includes a closed tank for reference liquid, a solid particle collection tank with a level sensor and a control unit. The solid particle collection tank is connected via a pipeline through an on- off electromagnetic valve to the closed tank for reference liquid and a three-way electric valve with a pipeline with controlled liquid, at the outlet of which there installed is a three-way electromagnetic valve, and the control unit is electrically connected to electromagnetic valves, output of the information processing and presentation unit and output of the level sensor.

EFFECT: enlarging functional capabilities of the device owing to measuring the content of mechanical impurities in gas.
