FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method for determining phosphorus content in water sample, and namely in waste water sample is described, in which the sample is subject to thermal-oxidative decomposition and by means of a photometry method there determined is orthophosphate content in the water solution sample subject to decomposition for analysis; at that, thermal decomposition is performed at one stage by firing the sample without using any catalytic agent in the form of periodic decomposition in the combustion furnace by introducing to the furnace of the earlier specified small amount of the sample during injection; formed combustion gas is removed from the combustion furnace in carrier gas flow, and the flow consisting of combustion gas/carrier gas is cooled down to obtain water solution for analysis in the form of its condensate. Besides, a device for implementation of the above method is presented.
EFFECT: higher reliability and simpler analysis.
