FIELD: heating, burning.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technologies for specific waste deactivation by way of burning and is to be implemented for invalid toxic chemical deactivation. Under the method proposed toxic chemicals and alkaline agents are delivered into the furnace in plastic or paper packages, their weight ratio varying from 1:0.3 to 1:1. Then the toxic chemicals organic components become burnt with the temperatures of the furnace alkaline agent flux liquid bath maintained at a 800-1000°C level. The furnace combustion gases are supplied into the afterburner chamber top compartment where they receive treatment with downwards supplied flows of liquid and solid fuel combustion products, heated air and an alkaline solution aerosol. Then the combustion gases are subsequently ducted into a cyclone chamber for pre-cleaning, a catalytic reactor for decontamination, a bag filter for fine purification and finally discharged into the chimney.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of organic compound decomposition as well as of collection and deactivation of decomposition products generated as a result of invalid toxic chemical or similar substance burning.
